The company description
In one paragraph
Indominus Managed Security (Indominus MS) is the accountable cybersecurity company. Based in Montréal, it runs and protects the security of small and medium businesses, and it built Spartan Trust, the platform on which a business publishes a Spartan Business Cybersecurity Passport that its customers, insurers and partners read instead of sending it a questionnaire.
At length
Indominus Managed Security (Indominus MS; in French, Indominus Sécurité Gérée) is a seed-stage cybersecurity company headquartered in Montréal. Its mission is to protect those who cannot protect themselves from cybercriminals.
The company does two things. It provides managed security — advice, onboarding, monitoring and response — for businesses that want somebody answerable for their security. And it built Spartan Trust, at sparta.ms, where a business answers one assessment, once, and publishes the result as a Spartan Business Cybersecurity Passport. The organisations that depend on that business read the Passport instead of sending their own questionnaires, and what they read was checked rather than merely asserted.
Indominus MS received two BASA awards in 2025, for Best Security Innovation and Best Disruptive Product/Campaign, and three Corporate Vision awards: Best Cybersecurity Platform Service in 2025, and Best Security Innovation and Best Service Innovation in 2026.
